     Oregon has many beautiful lakes and Buffalo Lake is one of them. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Not far from Buffalo Lake, you'll hit upon Sherwood Lake which is a delightful lake, and camping at Rock Springs Campground is always a wonderful experience. Summertime at Buffalo Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's; the overnight is fairly cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in  
   the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Buffalo Lake. Why not check out Buffalo Dam if you're here; hiking is a popular thing to do around Buffalo Lake; Fawn Spring Trail is a delightful local trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Buffalo Lake without first paying a visit to Owen Spring, and don't leave Buffalo Lake without first going for a hike along the Call Meadow Trail. Buffalo Lake gets very little precipitation; the month
 
               with most of the rain is November; the driest of the months is July. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Blue Mountains. Badger Canyon is near Buffalo Lake and is unquestionably a pleasant site to pop by; getting to Hall Creek from Buffalo Lake is easy.
This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Mountains. There's glorious hiking along the Rattlesnake Trail, and camping is available at Ray Cole Campground. So much cool stuff to do in the Blue Mountains, not enough time. There are other places here than Buffalo Lake, for example Charlie Smith Reservoir, and Burns - Days Inn Ponderosa is a nice place to get some rest.
