If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great globe it would be. Why not have a look at Mitchell Point also if you're here. Get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Hood River, and if you wish for a little side trip, try Post Canyon. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Best Western Hood River Inn is a great choice. There's so       much to do here at Buehler Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Sunset RV Park is a pleasant site for that. The high level of rainfall makes Buehler Pond a reasonably wet place; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Buehler Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the                  40's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Buehler Pond drop into the 30's. Don't forget to take a perfect little trip to Alder Brook, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Little White Salmon River. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Man, is there a heap of amusing things to do in the neighborhood of Buehler Pond. There is a good hiking trail near Buehler Pond called the Nestor Peak Trail, and there are plenty of people from Hood River here. Having a magnificent time in the Central Cascade Range is easy. After a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Hood River is a great place to spend a night or two, and going for a hike on the Little Baldy Trail is always a glorious adventure. If you came to camp Bridge RV Park is a pleasant site to do that, and why not head up to Cooper Spur and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Buehler Pond, you could also pop by charming Drano Lake, and since you're here you can play some golf at Hood River Golf Course. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Central Cascade Range has to offer. Go for a hike on the Little White Salmon Trail; the snow is glorious at Mt.
