The beauty of Buehler Pond is reason enough to stop by. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hood River, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mt. Hood Meadows. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Why not check out Mitchell Point also since you're here, and Little White Salmon River is a splendid whitewater spot nearby. Buehler Pond is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Buehler Pond. Alder Brook is a lovely stream that is worth stopping at, and after a long day outdoors Vagabond Lodge is a delightful place to spend a night or two. All through the days of summer here at Buehler Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's; the overnight is somewhat colder of course, typically in the 50's. Daytime
highs through the wintertime are in the 40's; night lows in the 30's for Buehler Pond. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is plentiful here in the Central Cascade Range. Buehler Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day
at, Sunset RV Park is a wonderful local campground; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Nestor Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Buehler Pond that you need to camp here for a
while, Lost Lake Resort and Campground is a tremendous place for that, and there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Little White Salmon Trail.
Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more entertaining stuff
to do here at Buehler Pond. Buehler Pond gets a good deal of water; through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Meredith Gorge Motel is a great place to get some rest, and Cooper Spur is a very popular ski area close by.
