Crater Lake National Park is a tremendous national park. Buckeye Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Buckeye Lake Campground is a delightful local campground, and get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Rogue River - North Fork. Man, is there a lot of enjoyable things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. A fine place to camp here at Buckeye Lake is Cliff Lake Campground, and the top of Grasshopper Mountain is easily distinguished

| | from Buckeye Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. This is a splendid neighborhood for people who like lakes. Little Fish Lake is a lake close at hand, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Jackson Creek. The Southern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Buckeye Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime | |

are mostly in the 40's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Buckeye Lake tend to be in the 30's. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Southern Cascade Range, too good to be true. Have a nice hiking adventure along
the Fish Lake Trail, and you're perhaps hooked on lakes, Cliff Lake is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Buckeye Lake it's a great idea to check out Grasshopper Meadow; a short trip to Grasshopper
Spring is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Jackson Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; go to nearby Beaver Swamp. Gale Creek flows through this region, and
if you're here you can take a hike along the Sandstone Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Buckeye Lake a wet place; the month with most of the rain is November; the driest of the months is July.
