A quick journey to North Fork Rock Creek near Bucket Lake is a nice idea, and if you need a site to stay Knights Inn Baker City is a great choice. You truly should love the Blue Mountains.       If you came to camp North Fork Anthony Campground is a perfect place to do that, and Rodeway Inn Baker City is a great location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Elkhorn Crest Trail is perfect fun; do set aside some time for Cougar Basin while you're here at Bucket Lake. During the warmest time of the year at Bucket Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. High temperatures                  during the winter are normally in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Bucket Lake temperatures dip to the 20's. The slopes of Anthony Lakes are so inviting noone can resist; Bucket Lake is right by the Twin Lakes Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Rock Creek Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and Bucket Lake is not the only location nearby, Rock Creek Lake is a nearby lake. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Bucket Lake. Looking for something in close proximity to Bucket Lake? Cougar Pond is in the vicinity, and not far from Bucket Lake you get some magnificent water scenery at Rock Lake Dam. Not much rainfall falls here at Bucket Lake; December is when you get the most snow here, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
