Buck Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Buck Reservoir is pretty dry frequently; the month with most of the rain is November while September is frequently the driest month. Buck Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Blue Mountains. Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is plentiful here in the Blue Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Pine Tree Campground is a great place to camp, and if you haven’t been to John Day Fossil Beds National

Don't leave Buck Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Coffeepot Trail; the sight of beautiful Bear Butte is wonderful. Summer at Buck Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Little Summit Campground is a good campground here, and Doby Spring is an inspiring spot to take a look at while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. There are great places to explore along the Black Canyon Trail. Lakes are great; Aspen Reservoir is a lake that's near Buck Reservoir.
