This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Golden Eagle Motel is a good choice. And that's not all you can do here in the Southern Cascade Range. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Brown Mountain Trail; obviously, this is a good neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Weston Lake is a lake around here. Swamps like Desolation Swamp are fun to visit; since you're here you can take a hike along the Varney Creek       Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Rocky Point Resort is a great campground nearby, and don't forget to take a great little tour to Tunnel Creek. Just can't get enough of the Southern Cascade Range. Get wet paddling on Klamath River, and White Pine Campground is a good local campground. The amount of precipitation that falls at Buck Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the snow is December; July meanwhile is the driest month.                  Buck Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range. From Buck Lake you obtain a nice panorama of Surveyor Peak; soar down the rapids of Trask River in a kayak. So much cool stuff to do at Buck Lake, so little time. You're possibly hooked on lakes, Avalanche Lake is one of those close by; do take a hike on the Mountain Lakes Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Buck Lake. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 40's.
