Oregon has many beautiful lakes and Buck Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. There's fine hiking along the Skyline Alternate Trail, and Clackamas River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by. All the water falling down from the sky makes Buck Lake a wet place; through December this area sees the most rain; the driest month is July.
Buck Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. You could also go to Anvil Lake since you're here at Buck

Lake; it's close by, and why not camp at Frazier Fork Campground if you're here at Buck Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Central Cascade Range.
