It's always fun to stop by Buck Lake. And if that's not enough there's a heap more fun things to do in the Central Cascade Range. If you need a location to stay Falcon's Crest Inn On Mt. Hood is a fine choice. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Buck Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hambone Springs Campground. Buck Lake is a wet site that gets a lot of rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least

| | moisture. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Cottonwood Meadows Trail; Clackamas River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Buck Lake; Hambone Trail is a pleasant local trail, and whitewater paddling is great on Clackamas River - Oak Grove Fork. Good hiking is available along | |

the Skyline Alternate Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Snowline Motel. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Buck Lake that you need
to camp here for a while, Frazier Fork Campground is a nice location for that. So many cool things to do at Buck Lake, so little time. Really good skiing awaits you at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl, and needless to say, this is a splendid neighborhood
for folks who like lakes, Anvil Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. During the summertime at Buck Lake highs are usually in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come
with highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Buck Lake. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Timberline Lodge, and a visit to Black Wolf Meadows invigorates the soul.
