Just can't get enough of the Southern Cascade Range. If you came for an overnight stay Shady Lanes Trailer Park is a delightful spot to camp, and Lava Beds National Monument is a tremendous local destination. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Merrill Motel is a splendid location to spend a night or two, and camping at Buck Butte Reservoir is fine fun, Eagle's Nest RV Park is a fine local campground.       At Buck Butte Reservoir throughout the warm months highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, generally in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Buck Butte Reservoir temperatures fall to the 20's. Buck Butte Reservoir is pretty dry commonly; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and July is when it's the driest.
