Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Kalama River, and a nice nearby hotel is Kalama River Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Whittier Lake is close to Bryce Lake; places like Salene Lake       are good to go to. Crooked Creek is a great place to explore; if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Lyons Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something near Bryce Lake? McCormick Lake is in the neighborhood, and this is a popular spot for folks from Longview-Kelso. For the period of the long summer days highs here at Bryce Lake get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the period of the winter                  the highs are mostly in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Bryce Lake temperatures descend to the 30's. Bryce Lake gets much water; the month with most of the rain is December; the driest of the months is July. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun.
