And if that's not enough there's lots more exciting things to do in the Blue Mountains. Browns Reservoir is not the only place nearby, Crystal Reservoir is a nearby lake, and don't leave Browns Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Beaverdam Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at The Timbers Inn and RV Park, and there's delightful hiking along the Utley Creek Trail. At Browns       Reservoir through the summer months highs are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Browns Reservoir are in the 10's. Browns Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Blue Mountains. Browns Reservoir is pretty dry ordinarily; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is September.
