Lakes are such peaceful places, why not explore Layton Reservoir Number 2 right next door to Brennan Reservoir, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Owl Creek Trail. Here at Brennan Reservoir you can see Scareoff Point, and Brennan Reservoir is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Little Summit Campground is a splendid local campground.       Why not stop at Brennan Dam while you're here, and dry warm beds await you at Fish House Inn. All through the summertime months highs here at Brennan Reservoir get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Brennan Reservoir temperatures descend to the 10's. Brennan Reservoir gets very little rainfall; through the month of November you                  get the most rain around here; September is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. The Black Canyon Trail is a good hiking trail close to Brennan Reservoir, and a great site to camp here at Brennan Reservoir is Buck Spring Campground. If only every site had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great earth it would be.
