Through the days of summer at Breaks Reservoir temperatures are mostly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 30's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Breaks Reservoir are in the 0's. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Breaks Reservoir. The Sunshine Flat Trail offers hiking at its best, and Breaks Reservoir       is right by the Little Baldy Trail. There's great hiking along the Starvation Trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Powder Spring Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Sag's Motel, and a great location to camp here at Breaks Reservoir is Crane Creek Campground. While staying at Breaks Reservoir you could always explore Happy Canyon, and why not camp at Hunter Campground while you're                  here at Breaks Reservoir. At Breaks Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; most of the snow falls during December; July is when it's the driest.
