Take a hike on the Starvation Trail, and Hunter Campground is a splendid campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the Little Baldy Trail, and TJW Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could explore. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Breaks Reservoir. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down       into the 30's. Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Breaks Reservoir all through the winter typically descend into the 0's. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Breaks Reservoir. Hiking along the Sunshine Flat Trail is good fun, and if you came for an overnight stay Crane Creek Campground is a magnificent place to camp.
