Brandenburg Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Blue Mountains. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Brandenburg Reservoir. Camping at Lepage Park - John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is always a glorious experience. High temperatures at Brandenburg Reservoir through the warm months are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. Throughout the       winter highs are commonly in the 30's; nighttime lows at Brandenburg Reservoir during the winter commonly sink into the 20's. At Brandenburg Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. Take a hike on the Wall Creek Trail, and not far from Brandenburg Reservoir you'll come across Bradenbury Reservoir which is a scenic lake. This lake is so wonderful. If                  you came to camp Fossil Motel and Trailer Park is a splendid place to do that, and John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is one of the destinations that are good to explore nearby. Long Prairie is a scenic location any time of year; hiking along the Knob Trail is perfect fun. All the outdoors exciting things in the Blue Mountains will keep you coming back many times.
