This lake is so wonderful. Alsea River - North Fork is a wonderful whitewater spot in the vicinity of Bradish Lake, and getting to Austin Creek from Bradish Lake is easy. Bradish Lake is a pretty wet place generally with lots of rainfall; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Big Elk Campground is a tremendous campground nearby; Embarcadero Resort Hotel & Marina is a great       place to get some rest. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Bradish Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are usually in the 40's with temperatures at Bradish Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. There are great sites to look at along the Horse Creek Trail; you can stay the night at Fir Ridge Camp Grounds. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast                  Ranges. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Lakes are fine; W O W Log Pond is a lake that's right next door to Bradish Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges.
