For the duration of the warm days of summer at Box Lake highs are usually in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Box Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. Paddling on Goble Creek is so much fun, and there are other sites here than Box Lake, for example Adams Lake. While       you're here at Box Lake you can take a hike along the Georges Peak Trail, and Box Lake is a nice spot to camp, Columbia Riverfront RV Park is a nice spot. Hit the beach if you want, Goble Beach is practically right here, and whitewater paddling is nice on Kalama River. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Adams Creek from Box Lake is trouble-free; if you need a location to stay Best Western Oak Meadows Inn is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss                  out on a magnificent swamp; Benham Slough is right here at Box Lake, and camping at Box Lake is glorious fun, Louis L Rasmussen RV Park is a glorious local campground. Box Lake typically gets a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls through December while July is commonly the driest month. Box Lake is not far at all from Longview-Kelso; Martin Bluff is an interesting place to take a look at while at Box Lake. So many amusing things to do here at Box Lake, too good to be true.
