Box Canyon Reservoir sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you       need a place to stay Five Pine Lodge is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Box Canyon Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Street Creek Boating Site and Campground is a good local campground, and a delightful spot for whitewater paddling is Deschutes River. On a wonderful day at Box Canyon Reservoir you can take a hike along the Reservation Trail, and a brilliant place to camp here at Box Canyon Reservoir is Drift Campground. Through                  the months of summer here at Box Canyon Reservoir, high temperatures usually get into the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Box Canyon Reservoir drop into the 20's. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. A pleasant site in the vicinity of Box Canyon Reservoir is Box Canyon, and since you're here, you could also stop at delightful Juniper Reservoir.
