A visit to Bowerman Lake is always a good idea. Bowerman Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. Summertime highs at Bowerman Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. | | Lakes Creek is close to Bowerman Lake and is always a diversion to go to; Hoodoo has delightful slopes and a friendly staff.
Black Butte Resort is a good campground here; there's whitewater on Santiam River - North for all you adrenaline junkies. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bowerman Lake a wet location; throughout the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is July.

There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Marion Creek, and do take a hike on the Marion Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Bowerman Lake is right by the Swallow Lake Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Detroit Motel is a
glorious choice. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. Do set aside some time for Eight Lakes Basin since you're here at Bowerman Lake, and you acquire a wonderful view of Green Peak from here.
Dry warm
beds await you at Lodge at Suttle Lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Blue Lake Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Bowerman Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Cold Springs Resort is a perfect place to camp, and you're probably into lakes, Alice Lake is one of those close by.
