Yep, outdoors fun things to do are really plentiful here at Bowen Reservoir. You could also visit Garber Reservoir while you're here at Bowen Reservoir; it's close by; Bowen Reservoir is in the neighborhood of Gilliam Swale which is absolutely worth stopping at. And that's       not everything there is to do here in the Coast Ranges. Bowen Reservoir is not the only place close by, Fisher Reservoir is a close by lake, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Corvallis-On The River, Or is a magnificent choice. High temperatures at Bowen Reservoir during the summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Bowen Reservoir dipping                  down into the 30's through winter nights. If you came for an overnight stay Ash Creek Mobile Park is a good spot to camp; Mill Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby.
