Just can't get enough of the Stochs Mountains. Camping is available at Blitzen Crossing Campground; Borax Lake is in the neighborhood of Pueblo Valley which is beyond doubt worth taking a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at Dry Lake close to Borax Lake, it's a scenic lake. Borax Lake is one of the lakes here in the Stochs Mountains. There are great places to explore along the The Beef Trail; a short visit       to Hot Springs is always worthwhile. Borax Lake gets very little precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. High temperatures at Borax Lake throughout the days of summer are in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 40's.
