In Oregon there are many beautiful lakes, Boot Lake is one of them. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. Near Boot Lake you hit upon the Mud Lake Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail; camping at Boot Lake is great fun, East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a great local campground. Boot Lake gets much water; all through December this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so

| | wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Deschutes River, and a short trip to Wright Spring is always worthwhile.
Now, you may feel that's loads but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Boot Lake. Upper Campground is a fine campground here; if you come at the right time of year, Horse Creek offers some brilliant whitewater. Pass is delightful, and there are magnificent locations to look at along the Lake Way. This lake is so wonderful. Cliff Lake is a glorious lake in the vicinity of Boot Lake.
A day on the slopes of Mt. Bachelor is just what you
need, and the vista of Lucky Butte is picturesque. Throughout the warm days of summer at Boot Lake highs are typically in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are
typically in the 30's while Boot Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range.
Places like Mink Lake Basin are tremendous to pop by, and going for a hike on the Mink Lake Loop Trail is always a great adventure.
