Bongo Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Lillian Falls is a great local attraction; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Klovdahl Creek. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Central Cascade Range. If you came for an overnight stay Shelter Cove Resort is a good spot to camp, and great hiking is available along the Mount Ray

All the water falling down from the sky makes Bongo Lake a wet place; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. During the warm days of summer highs here at Bongo Lake reach the 80's, and the night is a little colder of course, generally in the 40's. no way anybody can get bored here at Bongo Lake. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Willamette Pass, and there's wonderful hiking along the Island Lake Trail.
So many cool things in the Central Cascade
Range, just incredible. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Hills Creek, and do set aside some time for Black Meadows since you're here at Bongo Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Sleepy Hollow
