Bongo Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Bongo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shelter Cove Resort is a great spot for that, and do take a hike on the Waldo Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Hills Creek, obviously you could also stop at Boo Boo Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Central

| | Cascade Range. Klovdahl Creek is a fine spot to go to, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Willamette Pass. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Island Lake Trail, and you must stop by Klovdahl Bay when you're here. At Bongo Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Bongo Lake are in the 20's. | |

Bongo Lake is a relatively wet place frequently with much rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. This place, the Central Cascade Range, has
so much outdoors enjoyable things. Bongo Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Twin Springs Campground is a nice local campground, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Oakridge Inn is a glorious location to spend
a night or two. Bongo Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. Hiking along the Mount Ray Trail is tremendous fun, and get yourself into a kayak and hit McKenzie
River - South Fork. Don't leave Bongo Lake without first paying a visit to Lillian Falls; Black Meadows is a good spot to check out.
