    Do stop by Bone Reservoir while you're in this part of Oregon. The Blue Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Bone Reservoir is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Twin Springs Campground is a tremendous local campground, and Clover Creek Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by. This is a popular site for people from Prineville; sites like Deadline Flat are great to take a look at.
A trip to Bone Reservoir
 
   wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Llewelyn Spring. Summertime highs at Bone Reservoir regularly tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 40's while Bone Reservoir nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's. Around Bone Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand  
               is the driest.
All the outdoors cool things in the Blue Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. A great place to camp here at Bone Reservoir is Lonesome Spring Campground, and the peak of Juniper Butte can be seen from Bone Reservoir.
