     Bone Mountain Pond is a rather wet place commonly with a good deal of precipitation; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Bone Mountain Pond. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 50's while Bone Mountain Pond nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. This place, Bone Mountain  
   Pond, it simply has so much outdoors cool stuff. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bone Mountain Pond has to offer, you can camp at Bear Creek Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Coquille River - South Fork. There's so much to do here at Bone Mountain Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Laliberte RV Park is a fine site for that. So much amusing stuff in the Coast Ranges, just mind-blowing.
 
               Elbow Point is a great place to go to while in the region; you'll stumble on a scenic lake called Fox Pond. This is a popular place for people from Coos Bay; naturally Cabin Creek flows through this region.
A gorgeous lake like Cawrses Log Pond near Bone Mountain Pond is a glorious place to go to, and close by you hit upon the Bear Camp Trail which is a fine hiking trail. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful.
