If you are in this part of Oregon make sure to pay a visit to Bolan Lake. Bolan Lake generally gets lots of rainfall; during the month of December you get the most rain around here while July is frequently the driest month. This place is so good, just explore all the enjoyable things to do close to Bolan Lake. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Elk Creek, and camping at Bolan Lake is nice fun, Country Hills Resort is a nice local campground. Whohoo, so

| | much fun stuff in one place! The Klamath Mountains is excellent! Green Creek Meadow is a splendid place to stretch your legs a bit, and a nice place is French Gulch.
This lake is so wonderful. At Bolan Lake you can spot Spees Peak; a good nearby hotel is Riverside Inn Resort. This lake is so wonderful. There are pleasant sites to explore along the Limestone Trail, and there's always Bolan Lake Dam to explore next to Bolan Lake. Summertime at Bolan Lake | |

arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are mostly in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Bolan Lake sink into
the 30's.
Do pay a visit to Oregon Caves National Monument since you're here at Bolan Lake, and why not camp at West Branch Campground while you're here at Bolan Lake. Getting to East Fork Bolan Creek from Bolan Lake is uncomplicated;
if you're visiting from Grants Pass, you won't be the only one. Bolan Lake is located in the Klamath Mountains.
Going for a hike on the Althouse Trail is always a wonderful adventure. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors
enjoyable things the Klamath Mountains has to offer. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Indian Creek Klamath Tributary, and close by you find the Bolan Lake Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail.
