Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Elk Creek is a great whitewater spot in the vicinity of Bolan Lake; there are good locations to explore along the Althouse Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Riverside Inn Resort.
Oregon Caves National Monument is one of the destinations near Bolan Lake that are great to go to, and don't leave Bolan Lake without first going for a hike along the Limestone Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Klamath Mountains.
