Through the warmest time of the year at Blue River Lake highs are usually in the 70's; the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, mostly in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and night lows all through the winter for Blue River Lake tend to be in the 30's. And that's not everything you can do here in the Central Cascade Range. So much amusing stuff in the Central Cascade       Range, just incredible. Hiking along the Fall Creek Trail is splendid fun, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Oakridge Inn. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. Blue River Lake is a reasonably wet place mostly with a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Quartz Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby; a fine site                  to camp here at Blue River Lake is Lazy Days Mobile Park. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Mc Kenzie River Trailer/rv Court, and needless to say Blue River flows through this neighborhood. Just can't get enough of Blue River Lake. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on McKenzie River, and the Gold Hill Trail offers hiking at its best.
