A lot of precipitation falls at Blue Lake; all through December this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. All year is a glorious time in the Central Cascade Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. Do take a look at Russ Lake close to Blue Lake, it's a wonderful lake, and Clackamas River is a good whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Blue Lake is pleasant enough to       spend more than a day at, Lemiti Campground is a pleasant local campground; there's great hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 22. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Blue Lake. There's so much to do here at Blue Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Trout Lake Campground is a brilliant place for that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Blue Lake; Boundary Trail is a delightful local trail. While you're here at                  Blue Lake, you could also go to gorgeous Long Lake, and don't leave Blue Lake without first going for a hike along the Blue Lake Camas Prairie Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Central Cascade Range. Gotta ski! Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is a nice place to do that. All through the days of summer here at Blue Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 70's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Blue Lake are in the 30's. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range.
