In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clackamas River, and in all probability you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Brook Lake is just a very short distance away. All the outdoors exciting things in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming back over and over. Lemiti Campground is a good campground here, and if the       weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 22. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area close to Blue Lake has to offer. Camping at Blue Lake is splendid fun, Trout Lake Campground is a splendid local campground; the Boundary Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. Blue Lake is a quite wet place frequently with much precipitation; throughout December this area sees the most rain; July                  is the month with the least moisture. A delightful location for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Blue Lake is Marion Creek, and hey, Gotta ski right? Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is a splendid site to do that. While you're here at Blue Lake you can take a hike along the Blue Lake Camas Prairie Trail, and at Blue Lake you can see Cinder Cone. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a good time. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Blue Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Blue Lake.
