All year       is a wonderful time in the Wallowa Mountains if you love the outdoors. There's delightful hiking along the Main Creek Trail; Minam Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. Blue Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wallowa Mountains. Blue Lake is ordinarily a rather dried out site; December is the wettest month with most snow while July is mostly the driest month.
