Blue Lake is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. Blue Lake commonly gets a great deal of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and August is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Wilson River - West Fork of North Fork, and if you came for an overnight stay Keenig Campground is a great location to       camp. You truly should fancy the Coast Ranges. There's whitewater on Wilson River - North Fork for all you adrenaline kick people; the peak of Red Rock Hill can be spotted from Blue Lake. Nehalem Bay State Park is a good local campground, and a good close by hotel is Best Western Inn & Suites. Why not have a look at close by Bathtub Creek since you're here at Blue Lake. At Blue Lake during the warm months highs are in the 60's. Once the sun is down                  it falls down to the 50's.
