    Beautiful Blue Lake has much to offer visitors. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Drift down the rapids of Santiam River - North in a kayak, and places like Eight Lakes Basin are nice to check out. Camping is available at Black Butte Resort, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Blue Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Marion Lake Trail is a delightful hiking trail next to Blue Lake, and after a long  
   day outdoors Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a glorious site to spend a night or two.
Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is bountiful here in the Central Cascade Range. Camping at Cold Springs Resort is always a tremendous experience, and not far from Blue Lake you'll stumble on Red Butte Lake which is a lovely lake. Blue Lake is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; all through December this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is July.
 
               This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range.
Near Blue Lake you stumble on the Pine Ridge Trail which is a nice hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lodge at Suttle Lake is a brilliant place to get some rest, and since you're here, you could stop by Eight Lakes Creek. Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Blue Lake. Get covered with water paddling on Marion Creek, and why not head up to Hoodoo and strap some skis to your feet.
You can distinguish Green Peak from Blue Lake; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Jorn Lake. For the duration of the summer highs here at Blue Lake get into the 80's; the night is somewhat chillier of course, regularly in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Blue Lake sink into the 20's.
