Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Southern Cascade Range. Blue Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Upper South Fork Campground is a wonderful local campground, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the South Fork Trail. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Blue Lake; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is July.       This lake is so wonderful. Meadow Lake is a delightful lake close to Blue Lake, and going for a hike along the Blue Canyon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Southern Cascade Range will keep you coming back many times. While you're here at Blue Lake you can take a hike along the Blue Rock Trail, and Buck Basin is a lovely place any time of year. Summertime at Blue Lake arrives with high temperatures                  in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Blue Lake are in the 20's. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Blue Lake. A pretty lake like Mud Lake close to Blue Lake is a great location to go to. There's so much to do here at Blue Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Saddle Campground is a wonderful spot for that. Get your heart pumping on the pleasant whitewater of Rogue River - North Fork, and Blue Rock is an attention-grabbing place to stop at while at Blue Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful.
