Blue Canyon Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Blue Canyon Reservoir without first paying a visit to Gillespie Spring, and at Blue Canyon Reservoir you always meet someone from Ontario. Blue Canyon Reservoir is pretty dry frequently; December is when you get the most snow here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Blue Canyon Reservoir.

| | When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Blue Canyon Reservoir are in the 20's. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Owyhee River; Claude Reservoir is a wonderful lake close by. | |
