Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Blue Canyon Lake rules! Crater Lake National Park is one of the destinations right next door to Blue Canyon Lake that are good to go to; going for a hike on the Cat Hill Way is always a delightful adventure. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail near Blue Canyon Lake called the Blue Rock Trail, and you simply should stop by Blue       Rock since you're here at Blue Canyon Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Through the months of summer at Blue Canyon Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Blue Canyon Lake. And that's not all you can do here in the Southern Cascade Range. Cat Hill is striking and can be spotted from Blue Canyon Lake; naturally Swan                  Creek flows through this vicinity. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Beal Lake; Buck Basin is a brilliant place to check out. Camping at Blue Canyon Lake is good fun, Saddle Campground is a good local campground; there are delightful places to explore along the Twin Ponds Trail. So many entertaining things in the Southern Cascade Range, just inspiring. There's whitewater on Rogue River - North Fork for all you adrenaline kick people, and Upper South Fork Campground is a brilliant campground here. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range.
