Blowout Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. It is very dehydrated here at Blowout Reservoir ordinarily; December is the wettest month with most snow; the driest month of the year is July. Do check out Groundhog Reservoir right next door to Blowout Reservoir, it's a lovely lake; paddling on Owyhee River is so much fun. A gorgeous lake like Coffeepot Reservoir near Blowout Reservoir is a wonderful place to stop at, and you're sure to encounter some good folks

| | from Ontario here. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Blowout Reservoir regularly tend to be in the 90's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Blowout Reservoir temperatures descend to the 20's. | |
