Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more fun things to do here in the Central Cascade Range. But wait, there's more to do near Blowdown Lake. There are perfect sites to look at along the Winopee Lake Trail; going for a hike on the Twin Peaks Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Blowdown Lake. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in       the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Blowdown Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Blowdown Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. A great deal of precipitation falls at Blowdown Lake; the wettest month of the year is commonly December, that's the one that rains the most while July is regularly the driest month. And if that's not enough there's a load more exciting things                  to do in the Central Cascade Range. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Mt. Bachelor, and at Blowdown Lake you can spot Pillar Peak. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Willamette Pass since you're here, and don't leave Blowdown Lake without first going for a hike along the Snowshoe Lake Trail. If you came to camp Upper Campground is a tremendous spot to do that, and West Hanks Lake is a nice lake close by. Lakes? Sure, Sundew Lake is around here.
