Bloom Lake is a perfect place to camp, Keenig Campground is a perfect place, and a good close by hotel is Comfort Suites Columbia River. Bloom Lake gets much water; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that rains the most while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You truly have to like the Coast Ranges. Stay the night at Trucke's Necanicum       River RV Park, and the summit of Flat Iron Mountain can be distinguished from Bloom Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A quick visit to North Fork Quartz Creek in close proximity to Bloom Lake is a wonderful idea; Wilson River - West Fork of North Fork has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby. Paddling on Wilson River - North Fork is so much fun. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. Throughout the summer months highs here                  at Bloom Lake reach the 60's while night lows are generally in the 50's.
