The White Trail is a great hiking trail next to Black Snake Reservoir, and let's not forget South Fork Toppin Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here. During the warmest time of the year here at Black Snake Reservoir, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. | | drop into the 10's. Owyhee River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Rough Trail. Black Snake Reservoir is a location that is relatively dry commonly; November is the month that gets the most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Butte Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Little Lake is a good lake in the vicinity of Black Snake Reservoir, and going for a hike on the Red Trail is always a splendid adventure.
