In Oregon there are many beautiful lakes, Black Lake is one of them. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Take a hike on the Herman Creek Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Hood River - West Fork. Black Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a splendid time. Why not camp at Wind Mountain Resort while you're here at Black Lake, and Rainy Lake

This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Timberlake Campground is a good place to camp, and at Black Lake you always meet someone from Hood River. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 23. Dry warm beds await you at Skamania Lodge, and here at Black Lake you can catch a sight of Green Point Mountain.

at Black Lake. Get soaked paddling on Hood River - Lake Branch, and everybody close by loves skiing at Cooper Spur. Best Western Columbia River Inn is a great place to get some rest, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Wyeth
Trail. Summer at Black Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are regularly in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Black Lake.
The high level of rainfall makes Black Lake a rather wet location; through December this area sees the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side tour to Gate Creek; hey, Gotta ski right? Timberline Lodge is a wonderful spot to do that.
