     Oregon has many beautiful lakes and Black Lake is one of them. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Timberline Lodge. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Black Lake. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Black Lake. So many exciting things to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too great to be true. Good hiking is available along the Pacific  
   Crest Trail - section 23; there are some delightful whitewater spots on Hood River - Lake Branch.
All year is a nice time in the Central Cascade Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. The skiing at Cooper Spur is wonderful, and Gate Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at. Bridge of The Gods Motel & Rv is a brilliant location to get some rest, and there's whitewater on Hood River - West Fork for all you thrill seekers.
 
               This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Herman Creek Trail; Green Point Mountain is clearly visible from Black Lake.
But wait, there's more to do next to Black Lake. Camping is available at Bigfoot Park, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by North Lake. This lake is so wonderful. During your trip to Black Lake you'll meet some people from Hood River for sure, and camping at Wind Mountain Resort is always a brilliant experience. Black Lake mostly gets lots of rain; through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest.
Black Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. Going for a hike on the Wyeth Trail is always a perfect adventure, and after a long day outdoors Wind River Cabins & Lodging is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two.
