    Beautiful Black Lake has much to offer visitors. The Blue Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Parker Creek; possibly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Anthony Lake is just a very short distance away. At Black Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest month of the year is July.
Having a good time in the Blue Mountains
 
   is trouble-free. You must positively dedicate some time to Angell Basin while you're here at Black Lake; from Black Lake you obtain a glorious sight of Angell Peak. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Blue Mountains. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Anthony Lakes, and Black Lake is right by the Rock Creek Lake Trail.
Any time is a tremendous time at Black Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. Camping is available
 
               at North Fork Anthony Campground; of course, A tour to Cunningham Saddle is always fun. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at La Grande Travelodge, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Boulevard Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Rocky Ford Campground is a good place to camp, and Grande Ronde River is a tremendous whitewater spot close by.
Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Black Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Black Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A spree to The Lakes Lookout Spring will fill your spirit with glorious feelings, and hiking along the Beatty Creek Trail is delightful fun.
