All the outdoors enjoyable things near Black Lake will keep you coming back again and again. Lakes? Sure, Lilypad Lake is in the vicinity; a perfect spot is Cunningham Saddle. Dry warm beds await you at La Grande Travelodge. Not much precipitation falls here at Black Lake; through the month of January you get the most snow around here; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. There is a tremendous       hiking trail near Black Lake called the Boulevard Trail, and Anthony Lake is a wonderful lake close by. Near Black Lake you come across the Rock Creek Lake Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail; North Fork Anthony Campground is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. At Black Lake you can distinguish Angell Peak, and Black Lake is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Rocky Ford Campground is a wonderful place to camp nearby.                  For the duration of the summer at Black Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Black Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. Going for a hike on the Beatty Creek Trail is always a fine adventure; Angell Basin is right here at Black Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Mountains. All the outdoors exciting things in the Blue Mountains will keep you coming back many times. There's whitewater on Grande Ronde River for all you thrill seekers, and needless to say Parker Creek flows through this vicinity. Yeah, come up here to the Blue Mountains for a perfect time.
