Oldenburg Lake is a wonderful lake near Bingham Lakes, and do schedule some time to have a look at Contorta Point if you have a chance. The high level of rainfall makes Bingham Lakes a reasonably wet location; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful       sites, why not go to Pinewan Lake right next door to Bingham Lakes; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Calamut Way. Man, is there lots of cool stuff to do close to Bingham Lakes. Bingham Meadow is a great location to check out, and Bingham Lakes is right by the Windy Lakes Trail. Take a hike on the Pretty Lake Trail; camping is available at Lake Lucile Campground. A brilliant site to camp here at Bingham Lakes is Shelter Cove Resort, and what                  would winter be without some skiing at Willamette Pass. So much amusing stuff in the Central Cascade Range, just mind-boggling. Crater Lake National Park is a magnificent local destination here at Bingham Lakes. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. At Bingham Lakes all through the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's.
