During the months of summer highs here at Billy Lake get into the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Billy Lake. Billy Lake is a wet spot that gets a good deal of precipitation; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount       of precipitation. If you came to camp East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a fine spot to do that, and after a long day outdoors Sleepy Hollow Motel is a delightful site to spend a night or two. If you come at the right time of year, Horse Creek offers some tremendous whitewater; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Willamette Pass since you're here. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Central Cascade Range rules! Taylor Butte is painless                  to spot from Billy Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in close proximity to Billy Lake. You're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Cervus Lake is one of those nearby, and nearby you find the Packsaddle Mountain Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. Billy Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range. There are nice spots to explore along the Elk Creek Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit McKenzie River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Crain Prairie Trail is always a splendid adventure.
