I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Billings Reservoir. There's pleasant hiking along the Mount Ashland Trail. | | to stay Best Western Bard's Inn is a magnificent choice; hiking is a popular thing to do around Billings Reservoir; Copper Trail is a magnificent local trail. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mt. Ashland, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Klamath River. December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Jackson wellsprings is a perfect local campground, and a lake nearby is Black Swan Lake. So much enjoyable stuff in the Southern Cascade Range, just fantastic.
During your spree to Billings Reservoir you'll meet some folks from Medford for sure; why not take a little journey to Ashland Creek if you're here. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bear Creek Trail, and if you want a little
side visit, try Wildcat Canyon. This lake is so wonderful. Oak Knoll Golf Club is a brilliant golf course close by, and Meyer Memorial Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. Billings Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the
Southern Cascade Range. A magnificent sight of stunning Ropers Bunion is available from Billings Reservoir; a short trip to Danns Spring is always worthwhile. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Billings Reservoir with overnight lows
in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Billings Reservoir are in the 30's.

Mt. Ashland
 | 3 PHOTOS If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
