    A visit to Billings Reservoir is always a good idea. Billings Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Southern Cascade Range. A tremendous close by hotel is Best Western Bard's Inn, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Mt. Ashland is relatively near. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Southern Cascade Range. You'll meet a lot of folks from Medford here, and a charming lake like Black Swan Lake is a splendid place  
   to go to.
This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Klamath River; why not take a refreshing hike along the Bear Creek Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Billings Reservoir; Copper Trail is a good local trail. There's so much to do here at Billings Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Jackson wellsprings is a fine place for that. There's just no way someone can
 
               get bored here at Billings Reservoir. Golf can be played at Oak Knoll Golf Club.
If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Southern Cascade Range. After a long day outdoors Plaza Inn & Suites @ Ashland Creek is a good site to spend a night or two, and on a gorgeous day you acquire a splendid vista of Ropers Bunion from Billings Reservoir. Danns Spring is a lovely location to explore while you're at Billings Reservoir, and a good place to pop by nearby is Wildcat Canyon.

This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Mount Ashland Trail, and getting to Ashland Creek from Billings Reservoir is simple. If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
