Why not stop by Bigelow Lakes if you're passing through these parts. Bigelow Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Klamath Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Elk Creek; close by you locate the Oregon Caves Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. A nice spot to camp here at Bigelow Lakes is Country Hills Resort.

Bigelow Lakes gets a lot of water; through December this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Klamath Mountains will keep you coming back many times. Yeah, come up here to the Klamath Mountains for a delightful time. The Lake Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Bigelow Lakes, and do pay a visit to Oregon Caves National Monument since you're here at
Bigelow Lakes. During the summer at Bigelow Lakes highs are commonly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Bigelow Lakes
dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. If you need a spot to stay Riverside Inn Resort is a good choice; Mount Elijah can be seen from Bigelow Lakes.
What a site this is for outdoors folks. Why not camp at West Branch
Campground while you're here at Bigelow Lakes, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Indian Creek Klamath Tributary. Take a side tour to Brush Creek, and places like Elkhorn Prairie are splendid to visit.
