The beauty of Big Slide Lake is reason enough to stop by. Big Slide Lake is a rather wet place typically with a good deal of precipitation; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Cascade Range. Get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Collawash River, and Pansy Basin is a magnificent place. This lake is so wonderful.

Summertime at Big Slide Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. A good place for whitewater paddling close to Big Slide Lake is Collawash River, and camping is available at B and B Rentals.
Big Slide Mountain can be seen from Big Slide Lake; the Welcome Lakes Trail is a perfect hiking trail close by. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range.
This lake is so wonderful. Do have a look
at Dickey Lake close to Big Slide Lake, it's a stunning lake, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Elk Lake Trail.
