The beauty of Big Sandy Reservoir is reason enough to stop by. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Big Sandy Reservoir, too fine to be true. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandy River; Bigfoot Lodge and Trailer Court is a delightful local campground. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Not far from Big Sandy Reservoir, you'll come

| | across Alder Reservoir which is a beautiful lake, and you can go for a hike on the Fanton Plaza Trail. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Central Cascade Range is peerless! There are great spots to explore along the Eagle Creek Cutoff, and Little Sandy River has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by. The high level of precipitation makes Big Sandy Reservoir a relatively wet place; most of the rain falls all through December while July | |

place to get some rest, and Big Sandy Reservoir is a delightful site to visit for more than one day, Windell's Snowboard Camp is a delightful site to camp nearby. Good hiking is available along the Old Baldy Trail. Lakes? Sure, Bull Run Reservoir Number Two is around here.
