The beauty of Big Lake attracts many people from all around. Big Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. High temperatures at Big Lake during the summertime months are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Big Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. That right there is plenty of amusing things already but it

| | goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. Coldwater Spring is an inspiring location to have a look at while you're here. There's so much to do here at Big Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Suttle Lake Resort and Marina is a perfect location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Big Lake is in close proximity to Hidden Valley which is without doubt worth a visit; if you've had enough of Big Lake, Lard Lake is nearby. You'll beyond doubt wish for | |

more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Central Cascade Range. There is a pleasant hiking trail right next door to Big Lake called the Patjens Lakes Trail, and Horse Creek has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close
by. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Going for a hike on the Thirsty Camp Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and Lodge at Suttle Lake is a good site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. After a
long day outdoors Comfort Inn is a good place to spend a night or two, and the South Loop Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. Big Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Black Butte Resort is a brilliant local campground,
and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Marion Creek. Big Lake regularly gets a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month is July. You can see Hayrick Butte from Big Lake, and the skiing at Hoodoo is wonderful.
