At Big Lake you don’t see much precipitation; December is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent location to camp here at Big Lake
is Hyatt Lake Campground, and you can run the rapids of Big Butte Creek. Man, is there loads of exciting stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range. You'll stumble on a delightful lake called Ice House Lake near Big Lake, and camping
at Campers Cove is always a brilliant experience.
Summer at Big Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Big Lake temperatures descend to the 30's.
