This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Jenny Creek is so much fun, and don't leave Big Lake without first going for a hike along the Mosquito Fish Lake Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Southern Cascade Range. A visit to Hooper Meadows revitalizes the soul; going for a hike on the Buck Point Trail is always a good adventure. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area near Big       Lake has to offer. Get dripping wet paddling on Big Butte Creek, and there are magnificent places to discover along the Bieberstedt Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Big Lake without first paying a visit to Hooper Springs. There's so much to do here at Big Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Campers Cove is a good site for that. For the period of the summertime months, highs generally are in the 90's at Big Lake with overnight lows                  in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Big Lake. If you need a location to stay Lithia Springs Resort And Gardens is a great choice. Windmill Inn And Suites Of Ashland is a good site to get some rest, and Mt. Ashland has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff. All year is a delightful time in the Southern Cascade Range if you fancy the outdoors. Big Lake is not the only spot close by, Lost Lake is a close by lake; the top of Sugarloaf is easily seen from Big Lake. Big Lake is located in the Southern Cascade Range. If you get bored of Big Lake, you could also take a look at nearby Ice House Lake; Big Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Hyatt Lake Campground is a delightful local campground.
