If you are traveling by, why not stop by Big Finger Lake. Big Finger Lake is a wet spot that gets lots of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that rains the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. There's so much to do here at Big Finger Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Campground is a perfect place for that, and the snow is great at Willamette Pass. All the outdoors exciting things in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming back many times. Get
your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Deschutes River, and do take a hike on the Mud Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Mt. Bachelor and strap some skis to your feet; there's whitewater on Horse Creek for all
you thrill seekers.
Throughout the months of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Big Finger Lake while overnight lows are regularly in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Big Finger Lake sink into the 20's.
