The beauty of Big Eddy is reason enough to stop by. Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is bountiful here in the Coast Ranges. Crooked Riffle is a gorgeous place to stop at while you're at Big Eddy, and going for a hike along the Lower River Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. | | are mostly in the 50's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Big Eddy temperatures dip to the 30's. The high level of rain makes Big Eddy a relatively wet spot; December is the month that gets the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. to the Coast Ranges. Inn of the Beachcomber is a tremendous place to get some rest; a great place to have a look at close by is Agness Bar. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do close to Big Eddy. Big Eddy is pleasant
enough to spend more than a day at, Agness RV Park is a pleasant local campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Illinois River. This lake is so wonderful. Blue Jay Creek flows through this region, and Twin Sisters is something
you shouldn't miss since you're here. A good place to camp here at Big Eddy is McCurdy Campground, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Snow Camp Trail.
