In Oregon there are many beautiful lakes, Big Curve Reservoir is one of them. Around Big Curve Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; December is when you get the most snow here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. After a long day outdoors Hotel Diamond is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. Lakes are great; Parks Reservoir is a lake that's in the vicinity of Big Curve Reservoir.

Highs through the winter are usually in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Big Curve Reservoir temperatures fall to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Big Curve Reservoir without first paying a visit to Little Alkali Spring, and a good vista of stunning Sheep Rock is available. South Fork Malheur River is a pleasant local stream, and a delightful site is Juniper Canyon.
