     Dry warm beds await you at Embarcadero Resort Hotel & Marina, and swing by Anderson Creek it's a perfect site to take a look at. The high level of rain makes Big Creek Reservoir Number 2 a reasonably wet site; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. This is a brilliant neighborhood for people who like lakes. Newport Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity; a brilliant spot for whitewater paddling  
   is Drift Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Big Creek Reservoir Number 2 and you like golf, you can pop by Agate Beach Golf Course, and if you need a location to stay The Landing At Newport is a pleasant choice. Big Creek Reservoir Number 2 really is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. Stay the night at Harbor Village Trailer Park, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Cold Springs Reservoir.

Big Creek Reservoir Number 2 is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Big Creek Reservoir Number 2 has to offer, you can camp at City Center Trailer Park, and on a glorious day it's a magnificent idea to spend the day at Nye Beach.
Through the months of summer, highs commonly are in the 60's at Big Creek Reservoir Number 2. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. Through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Big Creek Reservoir Number 2 fall into the 30's. Moolack Beach is in close proximity to Big Creek Reservoir Number 2 if you're in a beach type of mood, and McLean Point is around here and always great to stop by. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Coast Ranges. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Horse Creek Trail, and Siletz River is a great whitewater spot close by.

...! We climbed all the way to the top and looked out over the ocean and what a view. We saw all kinds of wildlife while camping at Beverly Beach State Park: raccoons they came right up to us waiting for us to feed them and a beaver carrying a tree limb gave us a real spook!

It was dark and we were trying to find our one and only flashlight and while digging for it in our car, we heard some weird brushing sounds along the roadway and when we found the light and put it to where the noise was coming from, we saw a huge beaver carrying a tree limb off into the forrest. We were so shocked at how huge he was! He was the size of a small bear. At first I thought it WAS a bear but my husband said ''no, Baby, don't be scared... It's just a beaver and he wont hurt you. ''

We'll be back! We loved the location, the setting (as nice or nicer than any nearby state park), the amenities, the hosts and the other campers! We rented a boat twice and really LOVED the crabbing package. Recommend the spots closer to the river :) ... We love this campground and have used it numerous times. Good fishing, good campgrounds and the greatest hosts and employees. Close to shopping, and many things to do. Full hookups and will accomodate larger rv's....

The Alsea River and Bay, famous for its Dungeness Crab and Chinook Salmon, are enjoyed year-round by fishermen, crabbers, hikers, hunters, boaters, kayakers and birdwatchers. We are close to spectacular ocean beaches. Our park is on the river, just 3. 3 miles from Highway 101 and the ocean, on Highway 34. You can pitch your tent on the river bank; launch your kayak and follow the Alsea River Water Trail. Enjoy the wonderful bird life of the bay which has been designated an important bird area by the Audubon Society. Chinook RV Park is a small, quiet park with large full hook-up RV sites and grassy partial hook-up sites. We have bathrooms with showers and a laundry. Come and enjoy the Oregon coast experience....
