There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Coast Ranges. After a long day outdoors The Landing At Newport is a great location to spend a night or two, and while here here do go to nearby Moolack Beach. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Paddling on Siletz River is so much fun, and camping at Big Creek Reservoir Number 2 is fine fun, Harbor Village Trailer Park is a fine local campground.
Throughout the summertime, highs frequently are in the 60's at Big Creek
Reservoir Number 2. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 40's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's while Big Creek Reservoir Number 2 overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. This lake
is so wonderful. Take a look at nearby Center Slough, and a round of golf at nearby Agate Beach Golf Course is a great way to kill some time. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Drift Creek.
Big Creek Reservoir Number 2 is a
rather wet place usually with lots of precipitation; during December this area sees the most rain while July is frequently the driest month. So many enjoyable things to do in the Coast Ranges, not sufficient time. Embarcadero Resort Hotel & Marina is a great place to get some rest, and a lake nearby is Cold Springs Reservoir.
